To me this looks like our moon being eclipsed by another body. and don't laugh... I actually did see two moons in the sky one summer evening. No, I don't drink in excess and I had my best friend with me. He also saw it and we were being mesmerized together.

This one has the same illusion as your rainbow one, except it seems we're instead @ sunrise, plus this one has more of a tunneling effect than the other. I like the color contrast of this one better. Excellent design. +1

The cresting moon, looks like the sky is gold and the circle of stars is a lid, either sliding open or closed. Great optical illussion......
