Wallpaper Description:
It was a dark and stormy wallpaper. Lightning flashed in brilliantly hued streaks-- except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by violent gusts of wind which swept along the dark alleyways of deserted designer profiles,(for it is on Desktop Nexus that our scene lies), rattling at the walls, and fiercely agitating a brightly lit but bewildered little green UFO which struggled valiantly against the darkness...

Thus begins the opening paragraph of the Novel "Paul Clifford", written by Victorian novelist Edward Bulwer-Lytton.
:D :D :D Uh, okay, this isn't exactly what he wrote...:P Maybe I did get a little carried away. :D

One smart alec who lives at my house said that this wallpaper reminded them of a television going wacko. If you have another interpretation of this wall, post it as a comment. Your imanginative interpretation just might win a fabulous prize... if I can dream one up, that is. :P :)

(For all of you brilliant intellectuals out there, here is the actual paragraph by Edward Bulwer-Lytton.)

It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents — except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets (for it is in London that our scene lies), rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness.

(I made this wallpaper at a 1680x 1050 resolution, but it also looks fine on my 1920 x 1080 screen. If you have either of these screen resolutions, you can download the original wallpaper for sure. :))
