This space image shows extensive dust and small clumps of star formation in part of the Taurus star formation region. A faint star at the center of this picture is the young binary star system HK Tauri. ALMA observations of this system have provided the clearest picture ever of protoplanetary discs in a double star.

Great picture! Of course, I myself don't believe in protoplanetary formations - they are just too far away for some astronomers to say these bodies are protoplanetary. I don't want to argue here though in the face of such majestic loveliness. Thanks for sharing!
